Neurofeedback
Neurofeedback is a modern, science-based method that helps your brain regulate itself. By measuring brain activity (EEG), it can improve attention, relaxation, and stress management.
During a neurofeedback training session small electrodes placed on your head record your brain activity in real time, and you get immediate feedback on a screen—through images, sounds, or animations. When your brain shows the desired activity, this will be positively reinforced. If the brain does not respond in the desired way, the patient will receive a corresponding feedback for example the animation stops or the sound gets lower.
Hence, the brain learns self-regulation in a playful and effective way.
Neurofeedback is used in various areas including:
-
ADHD/ADD
-
Epilepsy
-
Autism spectrum disorder
-
Depression
-
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
-
Sleep disorders
-
Addiction disorders
Who is neurofeedback suitable for?
Neurofeedback is suitable for children, adolescents and adults alike.

Biofeedback
With biofeedback, you can learn how your body reacts to thoughts and feelings. Small sensors are placed on your body that record physical reactions such as heart rate, breathing, or muscle tension in real time and display them on a screen. This feedback creates a greater awareness of how stress affects the body—and how you can actively counteract it. Through targeted training, you learn to regulate your body signals and thus promote inner calm, concentration, and performance.
For which conditions is biofeedback used?
Biofeedback is particularly suitable for stress-related complaints such as:
-
Sleep disorders
-
high blood pressure
-
Tension headaches
-
migraine
-
Burnout
-
Teeth grinding (bruxism)
Just a few sessions can bring noticeable improvements.

tDCS
tDCS is a modern, non-invasive method that gently stimulates the brain. A weak, continuous current is delivered through electrodes on the scalp, targeting specific brain areas depending on where the electrodes are placed.
-
Duration: around 20–30 minutes
-
Recommended frequency: several sessions per week, depending on your goals
Are there any side effects?
tDCS is generally very well tolerated. Some people may experience mild, short-lived effects like slight tingling or itching at the electrodes, temporary redness, headaches, or mild fatigue. These usually disappear quickly, and studies show they occur no more often than with a placebo.
For which conditions is tDCS used?
tDCS can support a variety of areas in both medical treatment and mental training, including:
-
Depression
-
Pain management
-
Motor disorders
-
Aphasia (speech difficulties)
-
Addictions
-
Cognitive development, such as memory, learning, and attention

Counseling/Psychotherapy
In our practice, we systematically combine modern, device-assisted techniques such as biofeedback, neurofeedback, or tDCS with psychotherapeutic support. Truly sustainable success is achieved when these techniques are embedded in a psychotherapeutically supported process.
For therapeutic impulses to truly work, it takes more than just a device. We focus on relationships, reflection, and active collaboration. Our patients aren't simply "plugged in"—they are understood, accompanied, and supported.
Our practical approach:
-
Modern technology for targeted regulation of body and brain
-
Psychotherapeutic support to recognize inner patterns and emotional processes
-
Individual treatment concepts instead of standardized procedures
-
Dedicated therapeutic support - with expertise and empathy
This creates a treatment that not only alleviates symptoms but also has a lasting effect – through the combination of neurophysiological support and psychological processing.
